I love taking pictures. My idea of fun alone time is prowling around looking for cool things to point my camera at.

When I was in jr. high, some other elective class that I thought I wanted was full and the guidance counselor told me I could take yearbook or metal shop (or something like that). I chose the lesser of two evils– yearbook.

When I arrived in the class, all the other assignments had been taken, so they shoved a camera in my hands and the rest, as they say, is history.
